    Hi!
    I’am trying to soft the background image with the attribute opacity but I can’t get it to work.

    I’ve tried:

    body.custom-background{
    opacity: 0.3;
    }

    But this is not only for the image.

    ¿Could you help me?

    Thanks a lot!

    Sergi

    I know that I could do that by adjusting image transparency previously in photoshop. But I would like to know if it is possible to apply some attribute in css customization, I have been looking classes by inspector without success.

    Thanks again!

    Hi again Sergi, unfortunately there isn’t a CSS background-image opacity setting — only opacity for images and other elements, but the background-image is a style without an opacity feature.

    While addressing that is outside the scope of our support, there are some workarounds mentioned here that you might try.

    Hoping that helps!

    Thanks again supernovia, I will look another way to solve it or I will redesign my idea. 🙂

    I’m adjusting images of background with photoshop before inserting in the web design. I close the thread. Thanks again.
