 * I cannot access my admin login page and having trouble with my site url [http://www.upfnp.com](http://www.upfnp.com)
   which is not displaying properly. I tried the phpMyAdmin and FTP troubleshoot
   but it seems that I am having issues getting that to work (I’m a noob lol). I
   recently updated wordpress and the plug-ins but even then it was working fine.
   The problem occurred shortly after I begin tooling around to fix a display issue(
   the dash showed one thing and the actual site display another even after saving
   the changes I made). Please help!

 * Hi
 * Your site seems to direct to [http://www.upfnp.com/admin/wp-admin/](http://www.upfnp.com/admin/wp-admin/)
   which doesn’t exist.
 * You can log into phpMyAdmin and export your SQL then find and replace all instances
   of upfnp.com/admin/ with upfnp.com/ (You can use notepad / notepad++ to accomplish
   this).
 * Save your file. Use the save as option and save as a new file so you have the
   original copy as a backup.
 * Then delete your tables and import your saved SQL.
 * This should resolve your issue.

 * Do not attempt to edit an SQL export! You are likely to break your site.
 * If you want to do a search and replace *and cannot login* to use a plugin, use
   the search/replace script here:
 * [https://interconnectit.com/products/search-and-replace-for-wordpress-databases/](https://interconnectit.com/products/search-and-replace-for-wordpress-databases/)
 * always backup your db first.
 * _Please note I am not endorsing the diagnosis above, just trying to keep you
   from damaging your site should you try his fix._

 * I followed the WordPress support guide on using the phpMyAdmin and changed jel0_options_value
   field to a:0:{}. My site url upfnp.com still isnt showing correctly. When I try
   to go to the admin page, now I’m getting a “Error establishing a database connection”
   message. Please advise. Did I make it worse??

 * Please follow my instructions and try to use an easy find/replace tool if you
   do not prefer notepad++ etc.
 * Work on your original SQL export.
 * Alternatively hire a developer – it’s probably the safest option.
