  • Hi,
    Same problem here…
After plugin update a field is added which is google API key.
I followed the guide and got an API key and filled the field. But I still have no maps on my website and the “Oops! Something went wrong” still exists.

    any comments?
    thanks.

Even worries, I followed every step and I still have the error message

After setting up API credentials, verifying domain I still couldn’t solve the javascript error for validating domain URL.

I tried excluding URLS and scripts in cache but still not working.

    “Minifier” plugins
Exclude the MapPress files (mappress.min.js) or Google URL (maps.googleapis.com) from your minifier plugin.

Finally, I deactivated cache plugin (WP Fastest cache) which worked.
    Ok but very inconvenient.
To my suprise, after reactivating cache plugin, it still works!

I’ve deleted cache and minified JS, the MAP still works.

    Hope that helps.

    regards Jason

In case it helps anyone, I had the same problem, tried deactivating WP Fastest Cache and still had the problem. Went to the Google Maps API and tweeked my referer from *.Mexicanmariachigrill.com to no restrictions and it worked. I’ll keep an eye on it if that gives me future problems but hopes it helps.

I created 2 support videos that show the process of signing up for the proper key at Google here, hope those can help you out; http://oopssomethingwentwrong.com/ (vids are at the bottom).
