Oops something went wrong

Hi I have been trying for 2 hours to set up the plug in. I have manage the initial set up but when I try to put my email address in to test it is working, I get the message “oops. Something went wrong. Please try again later”.
I have went through this forum and tried the answers you have gave people, I have also looked an numerous YouTube videos and it still isn’t working. I would appreciate help ASAP.

I’m having the same problem. It works for me, but other people get a 400 oops message. I don’t know how to fix it. Please don’t give me a laundry list of all the things it could be that I have to figure out. Thank you.

Please go to MailChimp for Wp > MailChimp, and click “renew lists”
Then go to MailChimp for WP > Form > Settings, and make sure the correct list is (still) selected.Now test the form again. If you still have the same error in the log, please make a full screen screenshot of MailChimp for WP > Form > Fields and share a link to that screenshot here. You can upload the screenshot to s site like imgur.com

I apologize for the delay in replying.
Please remove the list setting line from the form code and instead set the list from the “Settings” tab of the form. Once this is done please test again.
