Only works when “no forward slash at the end”

I have setup https://thebroadplace.com.au/courses link to redirect to https://thebroadplace.co.uk/courses in my com.au site.
in settings:
redirect country:UKfrom domain: thebroadplace.com.au
to domain: thebroadplace.co.ukredirection code: 301
………….When being in the UK, if you browse https://thebroadplace.com.au/courses, it redirects correctly. But when you have https://thebroadplace.com.au/courses/ (with forwarding slash at the end), it doesn’t redirect.
However it works either way for this url: https://thebroadplace.com.au/journal/
Can you help. I am totaly lost.
