Only working for admin level users

Any ideas? Plugin works perfectly for admin-level users, but not for Author-level users, who have access to the media library (can upload, delete, etc.) but they do not get “replace media” option. Works fine on admin accounts… Is there something I can try to make this work for author-level users? Thanks in advance.
