Only Thumbnail Images Floated in RSS Feed?

I am curious, I am looking at the RSS feed for this post: http://skinnychef.com/blog/superfoods-for-diabetes
and I notice that feed readers only float images that have class=”size-thumbnail”. Images with class=”size-full” are not floated.

Why is that? And where is that defined?
