Only the root category in the slug

    Hello, we have a WordPress webiste with this slug format: /%category%/%postname%/

    Now we started to write news articles and divided it into cagegories below the news category. The url looks like this: mysite.com/site-news/partner1-news/this-is-the-first-news

    But we just need the root category in the slog: mysite.com/site-news/this-is-the-first-news

    Could you help me, is there any slug format, like /%rootcategory%/%postname%/ for example?
