  • Is this possible:

    I’d like the comments area to show the commenter’s gravatar if they have one. If they don’t, I’d like nothing to show up (not even a blank).

    My problem:

    I have posts with hundreds of comments and the pages have to load hundreds of calls to for the default gravatar and it bogs down the page loading time. I’d rather nothing show up (not even a blank since that calls

    Is it possible to do?

  • Hey Terry,
    Gravatar from your commenters will only show up, if they have account in, otherwise it will stay blank, or generated (depends on you- you can change it in admin < settings <discussion < avatar display, show or don’t show then right almost in the bottom of the page, you can choose default gravatar or generated gravatar).
    I have a blog and i don’t think my page calls for my commenters’s gravatars.
