    Hi,

we have been using the Pro version of Social Auto Poster for many weeks now and it always worked really well.

Starting with Snap vers.2.7.4 we have a problem:

We have setup posting accounts to Delicious, Facebook, Google+, Pinterest, Stumbleupon and Twitter.

When we do scheduled posts ( just as we did in the past ), Snap only posts to Delicious and NONE of the other networks.

We can “manually” post to all networks via Snap using the “Repost Button”. This works. But the scheduled thing, does not.

Within the Snap Settings we have set up “Scheduled” as posting method and have setup 3min difference between each of the networks. Also, all categories included – so nothing fancy.

It worked great until version 2.7.4, but no it just stopped working for us.

Can you please have a look and tell me where to look or what to do to make it working again.

Thanks for your help in advance.

    Hi,
    no there are no errors…
it just states that it posted to Delicious… but no message about the other services. Not even an error message.

    Hi,
I have an update on this problem.
In my pro installation i have the following “order” as social sites are listed in my post options metabox in the post edit window of each post:
    -Delicious
    -Facebook
    -Googel+
    -Pinterest
    -StumbleUpon
    -Twitter

I checked various different ways of doing it, and the plugin always works with just the first checked in the list.

    E.g.
If i checkmark only G+ Pinterest,Stumble and Twitter, it will post ONLY to Google+ and than stop posting to the others.

If I chechmark Facebook, G+ Pinterest,Stumble and Twitter , it will only post to Facebook and NOT post to any of the other checked.

So whatever social network is first in the list gets posted to in scheduled mode. All others do not.

Again, this is happening now in vers. 2.7.4 and has not happened before.

Hope you can find the bug. Would be great.

    Hi Ludwig,
i raised the support ticket and you did work on our site (installing ver.2.7.5) , but still same bug. ( not posting to any other network, if it posts at all).

I commented on your support ticket, but did not get any answer, because I am confused if you are still working on the problem.

Please answer me on the support ticket ( 867356 ).

    Thanks.

Unfortunately I can’t help you with this problem. I spent hours debugging your site. It turns out your PHP flow gets “out of resources” at some random point of execution. It’s a plugin, WordPress or even PHP itself. Your sever just kills PHP process without any feedback. Sometimes it kills it before Facebook autoposting, sometimes right after, but it never gets to the second network.

You may need to contact your hosting provider or review webserver or OS system logs to determine the source of the problem and adjust your resources accordingly.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Ludwig,
just wanted to leave a final comment here, so you can mark this thread as “solved”.

You where 100% right – the problem was solved by disabling WP-Cron on my site and running a separate cron job every 5 minutes.

Now your plugin works like a charm again and posts perfectly to all social networks on our scheduled posts.

Thank you very very much for your help over the past days.

    Great service – Really appreciated!
