    Hello all,

I’m currently setting up a new tab/sub-tab organization for an updated landing page, and for whatever reason, one of my anchor points isn’t working right in Firefox and Microsoft Edge. It works fine in Chrome though.

If you go to the site, http://www.calyptix.com and click on the HIPAA sub-tab under the Resources tab, it leads you to the top of the page instead of to the HIPAA section. My anchor point is written exactly like my other anchor points as: and the url listed in the menu item is: /resources/#HIPAA

We currently use Jkreativ as our theme. Could that have anything to do with this issue?

  • Hi,

I don’t see any element on that page having an ID of HIPAA, so how are you setting up this anchor?

There isn’t any text/image that has an anchor. We just use a new text box, put in the above anchor code, and it usually works without showing up on the landing page.

We have the other tabs set up this way, and they work fine – it’s just the HIPAA one that wants to act out!

I’m going to try the way you mentioned however and see if that resolves it for the HIPAA tab though.

Alright, so I’m having trouble linking the Google Custom Heading element or the image on the right. Neither are working.

I went into the page and used Classic Mode instead of Backend Editor and but the anchor tag around the Google Custom Header element’s code and that seemed to do the trick! Thanks again.

Hope it worked. I have been trying to brainstorm for some time but have no idea how you’re using anchors, as they are supposed to be used with IDs to work perfectly.

But maybe you know something that I don’t, so something for me to learn. Glad to know you were able to figure it out. Don’t forget to mark this topic as resolved. 🙂

I’ve been having a similar problem – some of my anchors work, while others don’t. I use Firefox and OSX 10.12

Below is the html for a working one:

    • Tuscany Lodging
    • Below is an example of one that does NOT work:

    • Florence
    • I see no difference in how they are structured.
(I wrote out the html, but it won’t show up. If you can somehow view my html in my question, please try that.)
      Here is the webpage:

      Can someone help?
Thanks so much! I appreciate any help you can give me! It’s driving me NUTS!

Well, my question didn’t show the html. Hope you can see it somehow.
    Thanks!

Well, for whatever reason, I re-wrote the html, yet another time, and this time they all work!
Not sure what I did different, but here are the steps I did each time:
I highlighted and copied the text, then inserted an anchor using the copied text.
Then I went to the top and highlighted the index word or phrase that I wanted to be anchored to that spot at the bottom. Then I clicked on the add a link symbol above and added a # symbol, then pasted the text into the link box.
I then clicked ADD LINK button.
    So it worked, FINALLY! ARGH!
Maybe this will help someone else!
