# Only gate the comments

 * Hi,
 * This plugin allows to gate content from the site/blog. I am wondering if it would
   be possible to have a feature that only allows patrons/subscribers to create 
   an account and comment on posts?
 * Posts would be visible to everyone, but only patrons/subscribers can comment.

 * Hi there,
 * Comments are currently not gated.
 * But with the idea you have they can be gated. Allowing only patrons to log in
   would naturally cause any login-requiring functionality like comments to be gated.
 * Comment-gating is not in the to do list for this plugin right now, but login-
   gating may be an option.
 * If we dont incorporate it to this (official) one, it may get added to the 3rd
   party-developed Pro version.
