Only free themes should be allowed

Too many themes on wp.org are not really free.
When you go to the web site there is a “Lite” or a non “pro” version free never updated that do practically nothing compared to the descrition used.
I can accept a dual free and pro but the themes must be updated at the same time and have similar functionality.
But with the actual situation I would ban every theme not free with a single name and multiple versions.

Not true. Lack of updates doesn’t mean not free, nor does having another more advanced version somewhere else.

That would be a shame. You’d miss out on some good code samples. The themes posted on WordPress.ORG’s repository have to be 100% GPL’ed or compatible.

If you do find a theme that violates the rules, report it.
