• I am using Edge Suite 0.6 (date created shows Dec 12, 2014). I have 2 different header animations and I want one to display on the homepage, and the other to display on every other page. my website is http://vistalagoadventures.com I have inserted the php code given on the usage page into my header.php. I have both OAMs uploaded and they both display correctly if I set them as the default. The problem is that when I set the home version to override the default by choosing it in the dropdown on the edit page for my home page it does not actually override it. The default composition shows on all pages every time. I had this working before the Edge update and dev version of Edge Suite was created to deal with the update and would have just left it all alone, but I had to make a change to the edge animation so I had to update everything (and in the process lost this “per page” control). I want to commend you on your ability and willingness to share your knowledge and skill with all of us wordpress users who are still learning… it’s generous developers like you that make this whole website creation thing a viable field to get into… whether that’s a good thing or not 🙂
    Thank you,
    Ben

Still can’t use per page control for which of my two animations will load in the header. They both work if I set each of them as the default in turn, but I cannot set one default for all the pages, and choose one specifically for the home page. Is this an issue with the current dev version? Or am I experiencing a unique problem?

Another note, in the homepage version of the animation, the zip line guys starts on the far right of the page and then slides over to the left as the clouds move slightly. The non-home version that should be displaying on all the other pages has the guy stationary on the left and the clouds respond to mouseover. Now the weird part… You can see a flash of the guy in the right side starting position as the homepage is loading, but it ultimately it only loads the version where the guy is on the left of the screen.

I would really like to fix this issue. The usage page says “Page/Post: In editing mode each post or a page has a composition selection that, when chosen, will overwrite the default composition.” I am finding that choosing anything on a PAGE has no effect. Choosing one of the other compositions on the edit page for a POST does work correctly. Can anybody help!?

I’ve got the same problem. It’s all or nothing. I was hoping I was using the wrong settings, but have tried every possible combination. This plugin worked for me before the upgrade, too bad, it was nice.

Seems to be a bug of the new version. Shouldn’t be hard to fix, just don’t know when I’ll have the time to get to this. Happy to take in any patches…

If I had a clue to how all this php plugin wizardry works I would be happy to offer patches. As it is though, all I can offer is words of encouragement and a hope that you’ll soon find the time and motivation to fix this easy (in your words) bug. First the encouragement: Timm, I for one really appreciate the time and expertise that you’ve poured into the WordPress and Adobe Edge community. I humbly ask that you turn your love of solving challenges to this issue for what will hopefully be a small commitment of time, and that will result in one less thing that nags the back of your mind… And yet another gift of functionality to all those WP users out there who’s only hope of using EA in WordPress is found in your amazing plugin. And now, hope.
