Only counts entire site. Monthly summaries would be useful

Does exactly what the description says but I guess I expected to find some additional data breakdowns such as monthly summaries. My site is 12 years old.. so I now know I have 2500 articles and 2 million words, but I am trying to manage my article length, making adjustments… and was hoping to be able to compare month to month to track my progress.
