Only administrators are able to log in
-
I recently rebuilt one of my WordPress sites (http://fixyourgut.com) when 4.0 came out. The only things I’ve imported from the previous install are posts and pages. I created new user accounts and attributed the relevant posts to the proper user names.
The issues I’m having is that only administrator accounts are able to log in. Users with a role anything below administrator are able to access the log in page but once they enter their username and password they just get a blank white page. It’s not a password issue because they get an error if they type it wrong. I’ve tried logging in with multiple browsers and all have the same issue. I have also followed instructions on this WordPress codex entry: http://codex.wordpress.org/Login_Trouble but was not able to fix the issue.
This website only needs two administrators and one editor who creates content, however, I would like to limit the editor’s account since he has the habit of changing things that shouldn’t be changed. His account is currently set to administrator, but like I said, I’d like to get this fixed to limit his actions.
I’ve thought about attributing his content to a temporary user and recreating his account but wanted to check here if someone had a better fix before I did that. Thanks for your help.
