Support » Plugin: WP User Manager - User Profile Builder & Membership » Only “Administrator” Users are being recognized as logged in

    Good afternoon!

I have an issue with my site; currently, only users whose roles are Administrator level can access their profile page, or are even recognized as being logged in. If the user is a Subscriber, Contributor, Author, etc… they are told “This content is available to members only. Please login or register to view this area” when attempting to access the my profile page, despite being logged in. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks!

Hi @pecondie has the profile shortcode been wrapped in a content restriction shortcode? Or if you are using the block editor, has the profile block been wrapped in a group block only for admins?

    Hi WP User Manager,

Apologies – thought I responded to this but apparently not.

we have added in our Pages via the Block Editor and they do not appear to be wrapped in a group block. Recently, we’ve had the interesting phenomenon of the Profile Page either allowing members to view it, or coming up with the same error as above. There does not seem to be any rhyme or reason to this, with earlier today the Error showing up, and later today the error disappearing. Any thoughts as to what it might be?

    Thanks!

It sounds like this might be a page caching issue. Are you using a caching plugin?

Yes! We use WP Fastest Cache.

Ah ok, so you will need to exclude the profile page from being cached by the plugin

This did it! Thank you thank you thank you!
