• This has happened before, not all my posts will show up. Right now it will only show 4 pages worth for a total of 20 even though I have 36 posts published. Is there a setting I’m missing?

    Interesting I just changed it to 5 to check and sure enough it worked. Thanks for the simple fix, better than paying my web guy to do it. Is this a bug or is there a good reason why it does this?

    assuming your front page has some custom query where the ‘posts_per_page’ is set individually to 5 posts per page, then the pagination code can have problems to find the right number of paginated pages to show if the general setting has a differnt number of posts per page;

    I am no expert in this particlular field, but afaik, doing this with ‘pre_get_posts’ http://codex.wordpress.org/Plugin_API/Action_Reference/pre_get_posts might work better; this also depends how the pagination is coded.

    I just like to posts my blogs, that is about the extent of my expertise ha ha. Thanks again I will take a look at the link and see if it is a better fix.
