Support » Plugin: Adaptive Images for WordPress » Only 1/2 the images being cached

Using this but only 1/2 the images are being cached. Using the “WP Link Status” plugin to scan after implementing your plugin, and over 289 images are reporting 404 errors. But if I deactivate your plugin and scan again, there are no 404s. I saw where there was a problem if WP was not installed in the root directory, but this one is. Any ideas?

    Hello, there,

Usually, if the plugin is working, it is working for all images and, if it’s not working, it’s not working at all! But let’s take things one step at time. Would it be possible to share your website url with us and point us to an image that reports 404, so that we can debug it?

    Cheers,
    Takis

Thanks for your help Takis! I sent you links of some of the 404s to the email posted on your website. Please let me know if you need anything else.

Thank you Takis for your advice. You were right, it was an issue with some of the old post images not being called with SSL like the rest of the site now is. I used the plugin “Better Find and Replace” and replaced our old http site URL with https (ie, replacing “http://mysite.com” with “https://mysite.com”) everywhere in the database where it was found. Problem fixed!
