Online registration for event is closed

    Hi Joe!
    First of all, thank you for this great plugin. I really appreciate your work!

    However my customer reported a problem to me, yesterday. She said neither the ticket sale nor the registration is working. On every page only this sentence appears at the bottom “The online registration for this event is closed” … unfortunately this applies to all events.

    She didn’t change anything in the last days and when i last checked it last week, it worked flawless. I have already deactivated all plugins to see if there is a conflict with one oft them, unfortunately without result. Maybe I missed something in the settings?

    There are a lot of potential situations where ticket sales can close.

    1) No tickets left.
    2) The number of tickets left is at or below the reserved number in settings
    3) Only shipped tickets are offered, and the shipping time requirement is higher than the amount of time left.
    4) The event is in the past.

    Ultimately, I don’t know enough about your ticket sales settings to even start to guess. But you should verify that the number of tickets remaining is accurate, check the values for “Tickets reserved for sale at the door” in Ticket Settings, etc.

    If the event in question is using recurring events, then I have to note that My Calendar’s recurring events don’t play well with My Tickets.

    Thanks for your quick response!

    I suppose that it’s the Problem with the recurring events… all events are recurring and have already taken place once. That would also explain why it still worked last week.

    Maybe you will find a way to make it work in the future. 🙂
    And in the meantime we will create events separately.
