# Ongoing Event

 * Is it possible to show ongoing events (with shortcode)? Actually I have planned
   a event between 3th of July and 8th of July, but it does not appear if the start
   date is expired.

 * Thanks for getting in touch! Are you currently using a shortcode or widget that
   isn’t properly displaying events that are ongoing? This isn’t intended behavior,
   so there may be some type of conflict at work here.
 * First of all, please make sure you are using the latest version of our plugins.
   Once you’ve done that, will you please [follow the steps outlined in this article](https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/)?
   This will allow us to determine if there is a problem in our plugin or a conflict
   with the theme or other installed plugins.

 * The ongoing Events (exception, the start date is today) are not showing when 
   I use the [ecs-list-events] shortcode. On widget Events List I could see the 
   same ongoing event.
 * I teseted the following steps:
 * – Change the theme from Espresso to Twenty Fifteen (with the same result
    – Update
   the Plug In The Event Calendar (only on my Testmachine, but I have to adapt two
   three things after the update on the live system) <– same result
