Can anyone tell me why you would use the before and after number in the counter? I would love if the doco would explain things like this instead of just saying the obvious like what options are on the page. It would be helpful to include what things do if it’s not straightforward.
    Thanks.

  • Hi @iguanamom,

My apologize but I am confused about your question. Could you clarify please?

In the counter section, the fields are: Title, Number, Before Number, After Number. What is the reason for Before and After number? I don’t understand why those would be used. They don’t move, they don’t have anything to do with “Number” itself so I’m unsure why they are there. Can you give me an example of why they would be used? Thanks

    Hey @iguanamom,

Yes. They are static and couldn’t move or do anything. They are just additional of counter number : http://prntscr.com/eduh3v

Ahh ok…it’s misleading saying ‘number’ in there like it has to BE a number. Might be helpful to show that it can be any sort of text or character field, or as I mentioned before, have the doco more clear to show what can actually be done with it. Thanks for the clarification!
