    Hi,

Let me start off by thanking you for the amazing work you’ve done and continue to do, to create such a fantastic product!

I’ve bumped into an issue with one of my vendors recently.
She is unable to upload an image or publish a product. She has tried different browsers but the problem persists. She gets the error message “undefined” when clicking submit for a product. When trying to upload a product image, the error reads: “an error occurred in the upload. Please try again later”.

Other vendors and admin are able to upload images and upload products without issue.

We enabled debug mode and after a failed attempt by the vendor the log says:

    [18-Feb-2020 19:45:48 UTC] <API is in force update mode>
    [18-Feb-2020 19:46:10 UTC] <API is in force update mode>

Any idea how to resolve this?

    Thank you for your time,
    Maite

    Hi,

Does your vendor has any other user role except vendor user role?

Are you using plugin like “User role editor” or some membership plugin ?

    Thank You

    Hi,

Thank you for your swift reply.

She is only a vendor and has no other user roles.

I checked and I do actually have this Membership plugin activated, but have no use for it at the moment: “WCFM – WooCommerce Multivendor Membership”

When I deactivated the “WCFM – WooCommerce Multivendor Membership” plugin I got a message that it is essential to the marketplace and allowing vendors to register, so am leaving it active. I have no other membership or user role editor plugins on the site.

Well, WCFM – Membership plugin is essential for vendor registration.

Membership is additional module, if you don’t want this then just do not create any membership plan, disable membership menu from WCFM Admin Setting -> Menu Manager

Between, this never block any user from doing anything as this does not have any capability controller.

    Thank you

Okay – so do you know what could be causing the issue instead?

Only capability may cause such issues.

I feel like we’ve lost track of the original issue. Do you have any suggestions of how I can help my vendor so she can post products? Let me know if you require any additional information.

    Thank you,
    Maite
