One to many relation

I need to create list of houses with residents. Each house have got thumbnail, description, title and own residents. Each resident have got some data about him and thumbnail (it’s no problem ;). But how to make: when we are adding house we can add residents to this house? And later we can in easy way get residents by house id in theme? I know to create two custom post types for house and residents by how to make a relation between house and resident? I’ll be happy if plugins will not be necessary. Thank you in advance
