Hi,
Yes there sure is, but it is called “One Page Checkout” instead: http://www.woothemes.com/products/woocommerce-one-page-checkout/
Hi @mjepson,
Unfortunately, the one page checkout isn’t want I’m after. I need my store to interact like a normal store, not have all the products on one page.
Hi @lorro,
However, this plugin just skips the cart page. I need the Billing Address, Shipping Address, Payment and confirmation all on the one page like this example: https://0.s3.envato.com/files/112322376/frontend.png
Hi,
Understood. So you just want to skip the cart page and go straight to checkout page?
Try this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/skip-cart-woocommerce/
Hey,
Try add the following code to the ‘custom functions’ area of your functions.php
file (or use a plugin like Functionality:
add_filter ('add_to_cart_redirect', 'woo_redirect_to_checkout');
function woo_redirect_to_checkout() {
global $woocommerce;
$checkout_url = $woocommerce->cart->get_checkout_url();
return $checkout_url;
}
Hi guys – @mjepson & @captaintheme,
Sorry I think I may have confused you. If you view the link it will show you the layout of the checkout where the address input and payment input are in three columns, saving the user from having to click next to confirm the order.
I don’t wish to skip the cart as the cart is important, I just wish to minimize the checkout experience to one page.
Cheers!
Hi,
The checkout procedure in WC is
View Product and Add to Cart -> View Cart -> Checkout
There is no more WC screens after Checkout, other thank you page.
Here is what my checkout looks like using Storefront theme: http://d.pr/i/niMB/nKmlND0e
Hi @mjepson,
I was under the assumption that WC went:
View Product and Add to Cart -> View Cart -> Enter Billing Details in Checkout -> enter Credit Card details -> Confirm Order.
But looking at your screenshot, I must be wrong. Thank you for that.
I wonder then how easy it would be to modify the layout of the checkout page to match that of my original screenshot?
That would require some custom CSS changes, so if you want to hire someone to do that, you can checkout someone like Codeable
Thanks @mjepson You’ve been a great help!
I think the explanations is wrong.
I am looking for the same thing.
The cart and the checkout needs to be on 1 page.
A column on the left taking informtion and a column on the right showing the cart and they can adjust quantaties there.
Its not just skipping the cart page… it having the cart and checkout on one page.
Does anyone know a plugin for this?
@dirsource1 This is exactly what i want to do two.
Do you already know something to do this?
We’re actually building our own bespoke 3 column checkout as there is no existing extension / plugin for it.
We may look to sell the code as a plugin so watch this space!
Nice work @dirsource1!
But we are looking for other solution, checkout in 3 columns.
Hope @impressiondp or somebody can help us.
Thks!
