One permalink is wrong…how to fix it

  • http://www.catavino.net/?page_id=6

    The above page if you click on the title “About Catavino” you get a 404 error. Is it obvious what is wrong? Can I edit one permalink? I changed the post slug a few times but that didn’t help the error. And I don’t have any strange code in the title field. Any help?

    @macmanx

    Is the post slug currently “about-catavino” ?

    yes it is…

    Make sure your .htaccess file is CHMOD’ed to 777. If it is, redbuild it (I think this is done when you update your permalinks options).

    You know you’re good to go when something like this appears in your .htaccess file:

    RewriteRule ^(about-catavino)(/[0-9]+)?/?$ /index.php?pagename=$1&page=$2 [QSA,L]

    THanks for the help…I had to download the .htaccess, and then cut and paste in the code….

    It says my .htaccess is writable in my FTP client…But it says in my WP admin folder that it is not…?

    Oh well it works now…Strange that one link wouldn’t work but everything else seems to…
