I was wondering if the Virtue theme has the possibility of a one page layout.
    Thank you for your help,

  • Hey,
It’s not set up that way. But you can add anchor links in the menus and anchors in your front page. You won’t get the smooth transition to each anchor unless you have the premium theme through.

    Hello,
thank you for your fast answer. I am not familiar with anchor tags, but how would this work with Woocommerce pages(single product page, shopping cart, checkout etc or even the blog page?

A one page is just a page with a lot of your content. (which you can add post and products to your home page for example products can be added in the page content using a woocomerce shortcode.)
Most one page sites still have subpages it’s just not the main focus. There are some true one page sites that load a subpage in a lightbox or ajax frame on the front page. This theme will not do that.

Check the link I posted above about adding anchor tags.

And it I wasn’t clear. This is not a one page site theme. It’s not set up that way. You can only do some of the similar feel using anchors.

Okay. Is there any chance of having a one page layout in the future(even with the premium version)?

Oh, and is there also a way to display thecontact form via shortcode to the home page?
    Thank you Kadence.

    Hey,
This theme isn’t designed as a one page. So even with premium where you can have some better options it will still require that you set up anchor links and all the single pages will still be on a separate page.

You can’t use the themes contact from on the home page but you can use contact form 7 plugin since they give you a nice shortcode to use.

Thank you for your reply. I am going to look into the contact form plugin. One last question though: I figured out how to add the anchor tags to the menu, but now all the menu items are on hover/active color state since they are all on the same page. Is there a way to only have the menu item on active color when the actual part of the home page is in view?

Sorry no, not with this theme it’s again not designed for this so there isn’t a scroll spy code that checks where you are on the page and if the menu item should be active.
