One of the custom fields requires the Post to be refreshed to populate

The plugin is working very well I can create a custom post type and populate all the fields except one custom field which I need to Edit the Post and click update (no other actions required just edit/open the custom post and click update) The field is then populated correctly

I have read about this issue elsewhere but not found a solution
