    Hi.
I´ve got a top-menu with seven items in my site http://www.amrodi.de which works fine on a desktop computer.
However on mobiles (tested with iphone) the top menu is seperated into two bars and the last item in the upper line, nearest to the separation, doesn’t work.
Any ideas why and… how to fix it?
    Thanks!

  • I went to your site with my iphone and sure enough the menu is not collapsing as it should. I noticed you are using Celestial Lite 2.1.0 as-is my live demo site for this theme; the demo site displays the menu correctly but it appears something unique about your site is affecting the menu function from collapsing…what, I do not know. Here is a test for you…disable your plugins one at a time and each one, test your site, then disable another, test, etc. See if there is a plugin that is causing a conflict.

Thank you very much for your really fast support.
I did as you told me: disabled one plugin after the other. And you were right. A plugin called “page peel” causes the conflict. Im really sad about this – this plugin was my favorite one.
If u got any idea how to solve this problem without deactivating the plugin feel free to let me know 🙂
    Thanks again – topic resolved.

I had an idea it might have been that one when I saw where it was located.

In a perfect world, all plugins and scripts would work together but unfortunately when something isn’t functioning correctly, the most common source is a plugin.

If you need the page peel, all I can suggest is to find another plugin or script that does what you want but at the same time won’t cause conflicts.

I’m not familiar with that particular peel plugin, but perhaps it’s something easy for the developer of that plugin to add “no conflict” scripting to their plugin. The no conflict means that it would not conflict with other scripts running in the site. I’m not sure if they have that or not but you could always contact them….although if it’s the one I just went to check out, you will want to be cautious of plugins that have not been updated in 2 years as the warning notice states on the plugin’s page.

Just an idea… is ist possible to place the menu a little bit deeper? Because obviously the plugin only affects menu items in its direct surroundings.
On desktop computer screens sometimes half of the item is affected, the rest is working with mouseover.
    Thanks again.

Not sure what you mean by deeper…do you mean the z-index? If so, and based on the setting for that plugin script, the plugin sits well above. Perhaps it should be the other way around so that the menu is above. Also, you want to make sure that your plugin works on responsive sites. I’d still try to contact the developer and tell them what is happening to see if they have a suggestion.
