Hi Algot,
Can I see it in action somewhere?
Jeroen
Why didn’t the link show?
http://scalabio.se/program/
Try again…
I can see the problem happening on your website, but I can’t replicate nor explain it.
Can you maybe do the following (within one hour before the next event):
- Check if the event is missing on http://scalabio.se/program/.
- Login in WordPress.
- Check again if the event is missing on http://scalabio.se/program/.
Jeroen
I tested this at our site, also located in Sweden and I can confirm that it do disappear 1 hour to early BUT only when I’m logged in, when I’m not logged in to WordPress it shows as it should.
Is this still on your test website? If so, would it be possible to give me a (temporary) admin login? I would really help me if I can look around and see what may be going wrong.
It was actually pretty simple at my end, the settings of my WordPress time was wrong (UTC+2 instead of UTC+1) when I changed that it worked as it should.
At Algot
I tried to switch to England (one hour later) but that didn’t do anything…
are you sure that you saved it and that the time showed correct under setting afterwards?
Finally! Today I managed to fix the problem. It’s a bit embarrassing. Because I feel that you already suggested this.
But when I used “Stockholm” as my timezone, the problem was there. Today I switched to Timezone “UTC+1” under “Manual compensations“*, the problem was gone!
I thought this would result in the same outcome, but no. Is it daylight saving time that mess upp something?
Anyway: it works!
Thank you very much for your support!
* My translation from Swedish
I’m glad this solves it for you.
I do think I need to look into daylight savings more to completely solve this.
PS. Would you be interested in coordinating the Swedish translation for the plugin?
Hi Jeroen,
We seem to be have developed the same problem. I just noticed that tonight’s shows are no longer on the list even though it’s still before the finish time: http://www.greennote.co.uk/events-page/
Any ideas? Thanks!
Best,
Risa
@jeroen: Yes! Absolutely! I’ve never done a plug-in translation before, but sure!
Algot,
I just received confirmation that you are now an official editor for the Swedish translation of the Theater for WordPress plugin.
You can get started over here:
https://translate.wordpress.org/locale/sv/default/wp-plugins/theatre
The translations for Development (trunk) are most important. They will only become available in the plugin if 100% is translated.
Translations for Development Readme (trunk) would also be nice, but than don’t have to cover 100% of the text.
@risa,
Can you try the solution that Algot Olserud propsed:
Change the timezone from London
to UTC
.
I’m working on a better solution. You can follow the progress over here:
