Support » Plugin: Advanced AJAX Product Filters » One filter works, two or more no results; ajax load fix shows categories!?

  • Hi there!
Been using your plugin for a long time now but i’m having some issues:
    – Direct URL to filters gives me error “Forbidden – You do not have permission to access this document.”
    Ex. https://filipecosta.com/loja/categoria/telecomunicacoes/?filters=marca%5B476-488%5D|ecra[435-436]

    – If i check “Template ajax load fix” and i choose one filter, it works, but if i choose 2 or more i have no results and no error (loop)
    Ex. https://filipecosta.com/loja/categoria/telecomunicacoes
Choose something from “Marca” filter works. If i choose something from “Marca” + something from “Ecrã” it won work (loop)

    – If i uncheck “Template ajax load fix” the previous problem is solved, the filters work fine, however i now have other issue, the results show WC categories that have nothing to do with the current category!?
    Ex. https://filipecosta.com/loja/categoria/telecomunicacoes

I left it like that (Template ajax load fix unchecked) because it at least works, although showing me categories!

Can you please help? Thanks in advance!

    Hi Filipe,

You have an error in your JavaScript and as a result filters are not working:
    ReferenceError: theChampCommentingId is not defined

As for the ‘Forbidden’ issue – this is site or some 3d-party plugin misconfiguration. Try to open wp-admin -> Settings -> Permalinks and just save the Settings again. If not help check the plugins you have. One of them is blocking filters pages.

    Regards,
    Dima

Hi again and thanks for helping.

I thought “ReferenceError: theChampCommentingId is not defined” would be related to SuperSocializer plugin, but even if i disable it filters won’t work.

Do you think that “Template ajax load fix” unchecked and filters show categories is also related with the javascript error?

I will investigate further by disabling plugins.

    Thanks again!

    Hi,

“Template ajax load fix” will not work with ‘Forbidden’ issue. You need to fix ‘Forbidden’ first and when done turn on “Template ajax load fix”. It will work.

JavaScript error could totally kill other scripts same as provide no influence. It is hard to tell. Critical issue now is ‘Forbidden’ error.

    Dima

Ok thanks, so with all plugins disabled except WooCommerce and Advanced AJAX Product Filters for WooCommerce the behaviour is exactly the same!

I think i have to check the server now.

One last thing, everything should work with Template ajax load fix not checked right? Because it seems its faster with that option disabled…

Everything should work with ‘Template ajax load fix’ CHECKED.

Without it filters could work a bit faster but they will be missing a lot of features and theme support will be lower.

    Regards,
    Dima
