one comment visible only when logged in

    A comment was posted to my site (www.historyofct.com) this afternoon, which I approved. This was the third comment on the relevant post. However, the front page still says the post has only two comments. However, logging in makes the third comment appear everywhere it should. I looked at the raw files and it seems that public_html/wp-content/endurance-page-cache/<name-of-post>/_index.html has all three comments, but also the text “2 thoughts on ” etc. (not 3). Any idea what could be going on? (It’s hosted on Bluehost, if that matters.)

    The first two comments went up with no issue. But, if it matters, one other quirk with the third one is that it took me a while to get the email alerting me to it. By that time, I had already logged in, noticed it awaiting approval and approved it. So could that be the source of confusion? If so, is there a way I can avoid that issue in the future, short of never approving a comment before the email comes through?

    Well, make sure you only approve comments which are real and authentic , bots might try to comment spammy things on blog
    I think clearing your website cache will resolve your issue.

    It does not matter where you host your site it may be any hosting company that’s not the issue

    I cleared my browser cache and nothing changed (or did you mean something else by my “website cache”?). Again, the file public_html/wp-content/endurance-page-cache/<name-of-post>/_index.html is in what appears to be an inconsistent state; I don’t see what that could have to do with caching (unless there’s some strange other form of caching that I’ve never heard of, of course, in which case please enlighten me).

    On a hunch, I tried unapproving the comment and then approving it again. This seems to have worked. So I imagine the problem was that, the first time I approved it, the email hadn’t yet been sent, so that confused something.
