One category in its own div, separate from all other cats

  • I’d like to place one important category with its own style and in its own div separate from all the other categories in the sidebar.

I can see how to exclude categories e.g. show all categories except 2, 3, 4, 5 but that isn’t flexible enough for me.

I might be adding categories later, dropping some etc. I don’t want to continually be messing around.

Is there a simple tag that says, display this one category link?

    Thankyou

  • Same problem here, http://www.johnmartyn.info/tetest
Seems to be very difficult, so I solved it simply for the time being.
    1) Note the category number (in my case ‘Muziek’)
    2) Exclude this category from list
    3) Make a sidebox that disappears when the category is being displayed
    4) Insert the url manually into this sidebox.
Not very flashy from a database point of view but it works.
