One article with multiple authors and individual content

New to WordPress and I’m trying to figure out how to get one article to show multiple authors with their individual content. I’m setting up a medical Q&A site where a question can be answered by multiple authors on our end, but have their individual answers post to the same question. This way if you check out the author’s profile, you can see the Q&A’s they’ve done individually, or see all answers by all authors for that question (hopefully that made sense).

I’ve seen a few Q&A plugins and themes, but they don’t seem to do this. Is this a matter of hacking something together or is this a complete custom job?
