One article in each page: how to remove the popup?

I hope this isn’t an already asked question. I’m very new to WP and I’m trying to build a “normal” website: I don’t want blog features cause this will be a commercial website and will contain almost only an e-commerce made with ECWID plugin.
Since I’d like to remove WP “blog features”, I want each article to be displayed in a dedicated page. I’ve already set to 1 the max number of articles displayed in a page (Reading settings), but I don’t like the popup that opens in that case.
Is it possible to open it in “normal” mode?
