Once they have your credit card, there is no cancelling

It took a round of six emails with the developer behind WPMonks asking multiple times to cancel our subscription before he said our Pro subscription had been cancelled. Neither editing your subscription settings nor any access to billing is available from within your account: once they have your credit card number, you can’t change or delete it.
So after this extended exchange and being told the subscription was cancelled, a few month later I get a subscription renewal email. The links looked like spam, but when I logged back into our WPMonks account (which had not been closed as requested), there was a $249 renewal charge pending on the credit card.
Do NOT purchase any WPMonks plugins unless you want an endless headache. Still have no assurance I won’t have to be cancelling this renewal every year going forward.
