Once a Perfect Icon Generator – Now a Pixelated Mess

This plugin used to be truly perfect for generating high-quality icons. However, since the complete overhaul of the website where the original image are uploaded to be processed, all previously available settings for compression method, algorithm, and strength have disappeared.

The exact same source material that the “old” website could effortlessly convert into clean, sharp miniatures is now rendered so catastrophically pixelated by the “new” version that it’s embarrassing for me to think of my clients seeing it as a favicon in their browser tab. It’s really disappointing to see what has become of this plugin.
