on_sent_ok: issue / Warning: Parameter 1 to wpcf7_tg_pane_checkmail()…

    Hello All,
    I am having an issue with the on_sent_ok:
    Once the contact form is filled, the page is supposed to link to a confirmation page that then links to paypal.

    After pressing submit, it just spins.
    The emails are sent to me and to the client, but it looks like the registration is unsuccessful on their end as the submit button just spins.

    This form worked perfectly for a few months but messed up in the last 2 weeks. I notice that in the contact form page (when I edit the parameters) the following message is at the bottom of the page:
    Warning: Parameter 1 to wpcf7_tg_pane_checkmail() expected to be a reference, value given in /home/kimga724/public_html/collectivevision.ca/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 470

    I am not familiar with coding or web design and am at a loss. I have seen other similar posts, but cannot understand what the resolution suggestions mean.

    I already tried to change the theme, and deactivate all the plug-ins. I really have no clue what to do next.

    Could this have anything to do with the following plug in:
    Checkmail validation for Contact Form 7

    i deactivated and tried to register and it still didn’t work.
