Support » Themes and Templates » on iphone the #page is 320px wide, but why, ooh why?

  • hi & thx for reading.

i modified my twenty-eleven theme and cut out every device specific css, but when i, with javascript, make the div#page alert its width, i get the correct width on my computer (1050), but the wrong one on my phone (320).

i swear, there is no width 320 or any iphone stuff in my css & the cache is empty.

is there any other device-specific css loading, or some js causing this?

  • strange enough is, this is only happening on subpages. the main page is all right (but i do have many subpages)

Do not edit the Twenty Eleven theme. It is the default WordPress 3.2 theme and having access to an unedited version of the theme is vital when dealing with a range of site issues. Create a child theme for your changes. Once your child theme is active, we should be able to help with the customisation.

actually its what i did. i copied and renamed the theme and modified it to my needs.. so its based on twentyeleven, but.. mine..

Then unless you provide a link to a page demonstrating the problem, no one will be able to offer much in the way of assistance.

    Try removing <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width" /> from header.php

    getting closer. 980. haha.
