Older Post Galleries GONE. Please Help

Hey folks, I have a serious problem I could use help with. A good chunk of my blog was created and populated before version 3.5, when the gallery changes occurred. Many posts, such as previews and reviews, had their own galleries for screenshots and the like. I noticed today that on any article with a gallery that was pre-3.5, those galleries have completely disappeared.

Could anyone please tell me how to get them back without having to manually repopulate them all within the new — and frankly, horrible — 3.5+ gallery interface?
