• Hello,

I am hoping someone can please help me with an issue I am having – my “older posts” button on my home page is not working and when clicked brings the user to an “Oops! That page can’t be found” page.

I have an installed theme called “Lavendar” that I purchased and it runs off child theme? I also have a homepage that displays a static page I think.

    My page is: http://www.jmsentertaining.com

I have looked through the forums and tried:
    1) refreshing my permalinks – did not do anything
    2) Deactivating the jetpack plugin – did nothing although I’m not sure how “activated” it is when I click on it, it asks me to connect jetpack
    3) Extending how many blogs show up on my home page but nothing changed

    Thank you for your help!
    Joanna

  • Hi @jsmiech,
if you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.
Then start enabling plugins, one by one, from the “Health Check” menu at the top until the problem appears again. Then you will know which plugin causes the problem.

This should narrow down whether a plugin or your theme and customizations are causing the problems.

Thank you for your help – I apologize for my late reply! I downloaded the Health Check and did the above but even after deactivating all my plugins there was still an issue. I reached out to the person on etsy that created the template and she is going to help me look into this issue.

    Thank you!
    Joanna
