[Resolved] “Older Entries” not working

  • I run a blog site for a family member. I am using permalinks, and the site works like a charm. Everything works how I want it to. The archive works fine, the pages, the categories, etc.

    I have a problem with the front page. It shows the latest 10 entries as it was programmed to do. But when you click “Older Entries” it shows the same 10 posts. This only occurs on the home page. The “Older Entries” buttons work on individual category pages, just not the home page. Any ideas?

    The permalink is set to: /%category%/%postname%/

    Let me know if you need any more information and thanks i advance!

  • If you change to the WordPress Default Theme, what happens?

    Well, it works fine. Now I guess it’s a matter of tracking the guilty culprit in the code? Any idea what normally causes this?

    Ok, so in the index.php there was this code saying:

    <?php
    		if (is_home()) {
          		query_posts("cat=-5");
    		   }
    	?>

    Removed that and it works now. Odd, I don’t know why that was there.
