Old permalink structure still being read by website scans
-
Hi,
I recently changed the permalink structure for the products on my company website. However, the old permalinks still exist and are being picked up by website scanners such as nightwatch.io and Google Search Console and throwing errors because part of the old URL doesn’t exist anymore (hence why we changed it).
For example, with the old permalink:
https://leanconsulting.com/courses/in-house-corporate/black-belt-in-house-corporate/lean-six-sigma-black-belt-for-green-belts-in-house/
The ‘/courses/’ part of the link no longer exists but this URL still exists and is throwing errors on our scanners and giving us a low score. It still navigates to the new permalink, but we’d rather it was gone completely:
https://leanconsulting.com/all-courses/lean-six-sigma-black-belt-for-green-belts-in-house/How can I completely get rid of the old URL?
Thanks,
Josie
