    Hi guys,

I am using Divi builder on my website and somehow when I activate the option to change the login URL (in All In One WP Security & Firewall), my template brakes when I try to access the old login page (wp-login.php or wp-login). In all the other pages with the error 404 the template is ok.

    Can you help me, please?

    Thank you 🙂

    Hi,

That is the correct behavior when using one of the Brute Force features. You want to eliminate the possibilities of visitors guessing your login URL. This is a good way of stopping Brute Force attacks. You must enter the following in your browsers address bar: yoursite.com/secretword. The following yoursite.com/wp-login.php and yoursite.com/wp-login or yoursite.com/wp-admin.php will not work anymore.

Let me know if the above helps you.

    Thank you

Yes, it is normally sent to a 404 page.

    But look at the difference:

Here the page for 404 errors will appear without any layout:
    https://www.azimuthprecision.com/wp-login.php

Here the page for 404 errors have the theme ok:

Hi, just for testing purposes can you use the normal editor instead of Divi builder. then carry out a test. Let me know what happens.

    Thank you

    Yup.

Only happens with Divi Builder. I will reach them out and try to understand why this is happening 🙂

    Thank you!

Just a quick note about how I solved this issue 🙂

To fix the problem I’ve redirected the wp-login.php page to a 404 page (just a random URL that does not exist). This can be done in the .htaccess file.

    For example, using this rule:

    RedirectMatch 301 ^/wp-login.php /potato.php

    Thank you!
