Old Facebook app id is coming through despite being changed in App Settings

I had a Facebook app that was giving me problems with the Oauth Redirect URL. Despite many attempts, the response I was getting was “URL Blocked: this redirect failed because the redirect URI is not whitelisted in the app’s Client Oauth settings”

Frustratingly, I see this message only on the OUTSIDE WP login pages, like a post with a login page or /wp-admin . However, when I use the “Test Configuration” button while logged in as an admin on my WP install, the configuration test is successful.

So after checking & editing the URL multiple times, I deleted & recreated my Facebook app. I did this because another FB app I made yesterday worked FINE with this plugin immediately.

SO my facebook app ID switched from 17488023403298 to 123232312408060

I went to the Mini orange Social Login and changed to my new App ID and app secret. When I click “Test configuration” it works successfully from the Mini Orange social login page. HOWEVER, when I go to a different browser an am logged out of WordPress, and go to Log in with Facebook, I now get a different error message in the Facebook pop-up:

“Error accessing app: We’re sorry, but the application you’re trying to use doesn’t exist or has been disabled”

As you can see, the APP ID being passed to facebook is still THE OLD APP ID 1748802342032981 EVEN THOUGH I HAVE CHANGED IT IN THE SOCIAL LOGIN SETTINGS.

I have cleared my cache, forced reload, and also opened again in new browsers and incognito windows — same effect.

Please advise.

however, I was able to fix this by deleteting records in my wp_options table, specifically I deleted all of the records appeared to be created by this plug-in — about 280 records, with option_names including things like “thechamp” and “champ” and “mo_openid_” and “mo_login_” and “_site_transient_” and others

When did this, De-activated, then Deleted, then Re-installed, then re-activated, the plugin appears to have returned to working and the Facebook login now works and comes through with the correct App ID
