Ok so heres my problem. Ive been using wordpress since 1.2 and when i upgraded to 1.5 i have a feeling it didnt fully work. I upgraded some while ago, i just never took the time to check it.

so here is the problem: when i look at old archives i kubricks 404 error, but they are i my data base and spammers are still attacking them. plus i can edit them, i just cant look at their page or read their comments like a normal user would.

normally id think this would be an .htaccess problem, but WordPress is taking care of that for me. so whats up?

    my main page:
    http://www.pseudoweb.net/wordpress/

    monthly listing:
    http://www.pseudoweb.net/wordpress/archives/2004/09/

and finally a post tht should be there:
    http://www.pseudoweb.net/wordpress/archives/2004/09/39/

and here is the only thing under perma links i have setup:
    /archives/%year%/%monthnum%/%post_id%/

    thanks in advance

nevermind i solved my problem. For future reference people you need to have both the month and day part of the permalinks structure for it to work well.

    thanks guys. :p

Did you update your permalinks after the upgrade? And did you check the .htaccess to make sure that the new permalink structures are in there? This might be where your problem lies.
