Support » Plugin: LiteSpeed Cache » Ok but requires installing their server and a License

  • It does what it says (minify, conbine, etc) but caching itself doesn’t work unless you install their LiteSpeed server. You also need a License for it, they do have free tier (restricted to 1 domain) but you must give them all your personal data including credit card or Paypal to get it:
Why they need it to charge you $0,00 is unclear but they want it.
So all in all i think this plugin isn’t made for the general plugin but those with server admin knowledge and whiling to pay for caching when there are tons of free options. Unless you have a single domain then you can use the Free license.

    Hi

Just wanted to clarify, you do not have to supply a credit card or your PayPal for the free license. You do need to create a client account in our system with your email address and physical address. Your account is needed even for a free starter license, so that you may order more licenses later, if you wish, and create support tickets from your account.

On the other hand, our open source OpenLiteSpeed is available, which you can freely download at https://openlitespeed.org, without supplying any information whatsoever.

@ctrlaltdelete Thanks for the review but please keep it to your words here only. No links or links to images. That’s not permitted in reviews and I have removed yours.

    Hi @ctrlaltdelete,

Just let you know, we now have a QUIC.cloud CDN service with which you don’t have to be on LSWS/OLS to enable cache.
