The colors are almost jewel tone, very vibrant. To tell you the truth, I got sidetracked playing the “How much are you worth” quiz. Looks good at 1178 res on Firefox.

Nice blog. Your calendar is a bit “giggly” and being a bit of an “old far_”, I have to squint to see the smaller type without a deeper color contrast – but I do like the colors. Also, the comment text is align:right which results in a ragged left margin.

Oh, and thanks Beel for the input. I’ve changed the alignment of the text in the comments to left justified. And I’ll work on the calander tomorrow. It’s getting pretty late here right now and it’s been a long day.
