og:image using blank.jpg

    This is a strange one as in my Source og:image has the correct url and even in the Facebook debug I can see that it’s using the correct URL(1) But then further down it’s using the blank.jpg(2). Screenshot of debug: here

    When I share the post or post the link on my wall it gets the image fine. But when I leave a comment on the post the share on your Facebook wall from that comment uses the blank.jpg image.

    I hope that makes sense.

    I assume that Facebook temporarily failed to download that image, even if it was among your Open Graph Meta Tags. It could be because the image was too slow to load, for example.

    It seems better now, though. If you experience issues again, I’d suggest looking at the image’s response times to see if loading time could be the issue.
