Hi, I installed the plugin but the og:image url is pointing to my favicon instead of the youtube embed link at the top of the post, how can I fix this?

    Hi @hi786

YT thumbnails are created during post save, please go to this entry, click “edit”, add some space to the end of a title (WP cut it off), save and re-check on front-end.

OG plugin does not prepare YT/Vimeo thumbnails during view, only during save on edit.

    It can be a reason.

And when the entry does not have any image, then OG plugin use site icon as a og:image by design.

Hi Marcin, I edited the post and clicked update and viewed but still getting favicon as image. Could this be a conflict with rankmath plugin which also has a field to input Opengraph thumbnail?

How do you check opengraph tags? In source? Or some debugger?

If you have two plugins for opengraph, then will be wrong.

Could you enter page URL with this issue?

This is just right-clicking and “view page source”. It’s happening on all blog pages as far as I can see.
